During A Non-Peak Day
I heard a horror story yesterday. No, not of Ju-on but of a particular friend of mine who has been working too hard. Overwork, they call it.
She's been coming home, extremely late and driven to tears almost everyday. Her dreams does not transport her to our Peter Pan land or a place of rest, but drives her back to her clients office, where she faces even more "imagined" stress.
Its been a long time since I caught up with her, but I was quite honestly "pierced" at the heart when I heard and saw what she was going through. We talked over a meal of french fries and ice-cream, but I must say I missed her company terribly since we started our respective career.
Somehow, I feel rather "not as occupied" or as "busy" as I should be. What should I be doing at 23, a young exec but at the moment, filling up a Xanga blogging during work period?
Ok...like a business cycle, there are upturns, recessions, good times, bad times etc. So, I suppose this is a lull period?
Talk about not being productive when you've got nothing to do.
From an "unnoccupied exec" at the moment
